Hope

There is hope. Even when you feel hopeless. Even if you feel like there is nowhere to turn. Someone does care about you, someone does love you. Sometimes our brain tells us things that are not true. We may think that we can not tell anyone we are struggling. We may think that we are a burden if we call someone. We may feel unloved, worthless, that noone cares. So many thoughts enter our minds that we should just end our life.

I was there, I definitely hit rock bottom. I wanted to just end my life because I was so depressed that I could not even function right. I was struggling at work. I get to the point of at home I just set on the couch and did nothing at all. I got to the point of feeling hopeless.

Now that I look back at my journey from where I was to where I am now. I am glad I did not give up. I have so much to live for. I have my children, my mom, my sister, my nieces and nephews. I have great friends that care about me too. I am showing them how strong I am and letting them know not to give up.

I know I said this before, but life is not perfect. We are going to have our ups and downs. We are going to get the a point in our life were we have to choose give up or keep going? If you need to cry, cry. If you need to take some time for yourself, do it. Just do not stay there. You will need to stand up and keep going. Show the people who have hurt you that you are strong. What they did to you will not hold you back any longer.

You are someone to somebody. Someone loves you and cares about you. Do not give up on your life because of what your mind maybe telling you. In the moment it may seem hopeless. In the moment you may feel like noone cares. Please reach out for help. If you feel like you have noone to call. Call the suicide hotline. Here is the number:
